Revised:

Every upgrade and when to buy it

UpgradeWhereWhat it doesWhen to buy
Ore LuckUpgrade board, every floorMultiplies your chance of rolling rarer ores. Shown as a multiplier: 5x, 12x, 24x, 30x and 40x have all been seen.Buy in bursts before a rolling session, not while you cannot afford the ores you roll.
Ore Regen SpeedUpgrade board, every floorOres regrow faster after the drone drills them. Rarer ores regrow slower, so this matters more the higher your floor.Top early buy alongside Drill Speed.
Drill SpeedUpgrade board, every floorThe drone gets around the floor faster. Each floor has its own drone and its own cap (three levels on Floor 1, higher on later floors).Max it on any floor that holds good ores; it is cheap relative to what it unlocks.
Drill YieldUpgrade board, every floorMore cash per crate the drone fills.Third; still worth topping up on your money floors.
Ore Level (+1 / +10)Click the oreRaises that ore's cash per ore. +10 levels took an Amber from $50 to $159 and a Primordial to 200B.The single best return once you own a keeper ore. Level the best ore on the floor, not the worst.
Roll PedestalsNext to the leverExtra rolling pedestals let you roll several ores at once. Up to five; the fifth cost $1M.Buy the second and third early; rolling is the whole game.
Mining Slots / TunnelsEach floorSeven slots per floor. Prices climb by floor: a few thousand on Floor 1, $35M to $100M mid-tower, $1T to $150T at the top.Fill a floor before you open the next one.
FurnaceFloor 3+50% money on crates you process, upgradeable. It can bottleneck: at endgame the furnace processes slower than your ores produce.Upgrade whenever the queue number on the furnace keeps rising.
Boost PedestalFloor 2 and some higher floorsSacrifice-place a spare ore for a base-wide money boost that scales with the ore's tier: Sapphire 21%, Nebulite 47%, God Stone 76%, Devil Crystal 88%, Omnipotence 110%, First Star 150%. Online only.Always keep your best spare on it; upgrade it every time you roll a better duplicate.
Equip BestBase menuSwaps every slot to the best ores you own automatically.Press it after every rolling session and after every floor purchase.
Apply GemsBase menuRe-applies your active Growth Gems to newly placed ores.Click it every couple of minutes while a gem is running.
Cutscene toggleSettingsTurn off the reveal animation per rarity so only Transcendent-and-up rolls play a cutscene.Quality of life; added in the August 18 update.

The order that worked

  1. Regen Speed and Drill Speed first. On Floor 1 the drone wanders between slots and ores sit finished while it drills stone. Speed fixes that before any luck upgrade matters.
  2. Fill the seven slots, then level the best one. Ten levels on an Amber tripled its cash per ore for $40,000; the same money on Ore Luck rolled ores nobody could afford.
  3. Ore Luck in bursts. Luck is a multiplier (5x, 12x, 24x, 40x seen). Buy it right before a rolling session when you have a buy budget saved, not as a permanent sink.
  4. Drill Yield last on the board. It helps, but it multiplies what the drone already carries; more slots and better ores multiply more.
  5. Upgrade the floors that hold the money. Upper floors cost about five times more per level; one player spent 106 million upgrading a top floor for a 0.4% gain. Keep the good ores on the bottom floors and pour levels there.
  6. Furnace when the queue grows. If the number on the Furnace climbs, it is processing slower than you produce and every upgrade there is pure profit.

Time skips and the maths behind them

Time skips (30 minutes, 2, 6 and 24 hours) pay out whatever your base would have earned in that window, boosts included. Codes on the codes page give away four of them; the Robux ones scale so that a 6-hour skip costs twice a 2-hour skip. A skip is worth the most the moment after a big upgrade, and worth nothing while the Boost Pedestal is empty or a Growth Gem has not been applied, so run Apply Gems and check the pedestal before you use one.
